Word Counter measures words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, lines, reading time, keywords, and letter density in one browser-based workspace. It updates as you type and lets you choose whether the displayed character count includes whitespace.

How the analysis works
Sentences are identified by terminal periods, exclamation marks, or question marks. Paragraphs are separated by one or more blank lines, while each newline-separated entry contributes to the line count.
Keyword density excludes a set of common English stop words. Letter density is case-insensitive and counts alphabetic A-Z characters, so punctuation and whitespace do not affect its denominator.
